THE PARTY
Nearly 50 people attended an open house at Apex Kitchen & Bath in Morton Grove to help in the fight against ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
Guests browsed the beautiful design showroom; nibbled on bites, drinks and desserts; and participated in raffle drawings that included some high-end kitchen and bath products from Apex. In particular, the event supported Rhona Bresler and her family, who lost a loved one, Shelly Bresler, to ALS in 2010, and has since formed a team for the Les Turner ALS Walk For Life.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Funds raised through the event will be added to the Always Love Shelly team fundraising total. To date, they have raised more than $6,700 for the foundation.
