THE PARTY
The Grand Ballroom at Chicago’s Navy Pier hosted the party to honor the generations of women and men who have led the fight for reproductive justice. Dressed to the nines for the black-tie event, nearly 350 attendees gathered under the night’s slogan, “I stand with Planned Parenthood.”
THE PEOPLE
Evanston’s Tim Kazurinsky and Katie Rich of Saturday Night Live headlined the event alongside award- winning journalist Renee Ferguson. The SNL affiliates, both of whom honed their skills at The Second City in Chicago, entertained guests with a dual performance. In addition to the special guests, emerging leader Bianca Reid was presented the Margaret Wiley Carr Bright Horizons Award honoring her years of work advocating adolescent reproductive health care.
