The Party
The Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation’s annual family event started with a brunch buffet delicious enough to tempt the little ones into eating at least a bite before jumping into all the fun activities, like decorating treats with the Sweet Mandy B’s team or making jewelry at the bead bar supplied by ELTIF Designs.
The People
Kids’ folk musician Little Miss Ann; Chicago’s favorite acrobats, the Jesse White Tumblers; and a dazzling performance by the All About Dance team kept the crowd oohing and aahing. All this fun, which raised $93,000 for the breast cancer charity, was planned by co-chairs Joanna Aaron and Sherri Hoke.
Best in Show
The action didn’t slow down for a minute. Children dashed from the Abt Electronics video arcade to the story corner with author Lisa Mallen to the dance floor with DJ Kareem. Even moms got to have their moment to shine with makeovers by Beauty Babe. Guests young and old agreed that it was the best morning ever! –Photos by Sheri Whitko
