THE PARTY J. McLaughlin in Winnetka hosted a reception to announce the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s (CSO) Corporate Night 2013 with Grammy-winning soul and rhythm and blues artist Aretha Franklin followed by an exclusive afterparty featuring The Motown Singers and Michael Lerich and his orchestra. THE HIGHLIGHTS Guests sipped Champagne, nibbled appetizers and shopped, all for a good cause. J. McLaughlin donated 15 percent of the evening’s purchases to the CSO League. Proceeds from the corporate night concert and the league’s post-party will benefit the CSO’s general operations and its community engagement and music education programs.
