Luck Be a Lady Masquerade Ball

| March 30, 2017 | Parties National

Partygoers reveled in a good time for a good cause at the Luck Be a Lady Masquerade Ball.

THE PARTY Decoratively disguised guests gathered at Field’s Land Rover in Northfield for a black-tie masquerade hosted by Blazin’ Babes, the professional women’s networking organization. Among the evening’s festivities were casino games, dancing and a silent auction. THE PEOPLE Sisters Renata Bregstone, founder and CEO of Blazin’ Babes, and Monica Garrido, one of the founders of the evening’s charity, One Refugee Child, brought their two organizations together for good. The party exemplified the sisters’ commitment to the power of connection. Guests had the chance to mix and mingle with each other while exploring flavors by a variety of North Shore restaurants, including Pinstripes, The Happ Inn, Taco Nano and more. THE PINNACLE The evening’s proceeds went to build a playground for refugee children overseas thanks to One Refugee Child. With the grassroots nonprofit, guests can check the project’s progress on Facebook to see how networking can truly bring people together around the world. -Nicole ross
