Eight years ago, Riverwoods’ Jeri Zaslavsky was in the fight of her life as she overcame breast cancer. To help keep her wits about her, she began doing beadwork during her treatments. “I found it very therapeutic to work with my hands,” she remembers. “I’m not sure that ‘Zen’ is the first word people would use to describe me, but designing jewelry definitely transported me into that space.” One can see how this euphoric influence has evolved in her work over time, from the lotus flower and dragonfly pendants to brilliant diamond camellias and enamel-clad crescent moons she’s showcasing in her summer collection. Designed by incorporating gemstones and diamonds with precious metals in a variety of hues, each individual BE LOVED piece can be worn alone, stacked or layered to create a look that’s unique to each person. The cornerstone of the BE LOVED collection is Zaslavsky’s selection of interchangeable charms and pendants that are available to be added to any of the diamond clasp necklaces or bracelets. “It” girl Bella Hadid is a huge BE LOVED fan. “I can’t pinpoint exactly when my business exploded, but it definitely has,” Zaslavsky says. “Nothing makes me happier than seeing one of my pieces on someone I don’t know. I love helping clients find that perfect piece of jewelry.” Enaz, enaz.‌com;
