The Party
Some 100 guests came together at Lake Forest’s Gorton Community Center for the sixth annual Founders Event for the Mothers Trust Foundation.

The Highlights
The crowd enjoyed a relaxing mix of refreshments and music, while speakers Cal Schneider and Cheri Neal shared moving personal stories detailing the organization’s efforts. The event celebrated members who strive to make the Lake County community a better place for disadvantaged children in need of assistance with five awards given to honor the unyielding dedication of volunteers, service partners and corporate supporters. –Photos by Dana Lenckus
