THE PARTY More than 400 supporters came together for the 17th Annual Myra Rubenstein Weis Health Resource Center Luncheon. THE HIGHLIGHTS The night began with the luncheon’s famed silent auction. Luxurious prizes included a signed guitar by Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, television show tickets and tropical getaway trips. After the reception, the MRW honored NorthShore oncologist Janardan D. Khandekar, MD and presented an enlightening address by keynote speaker Brent Bauer, MD. Always a huge success, this year’s luncheon raised more than $100,000 for Living in the Future Cancer Survivorship Program at NorthShore Research Institute. These generous donations will help LIFE further connect cancer survivors to the best care physicians and facilities. Photography by Jon Hillenbrand
