Actor Mark Moses—you’ve seen him most recently in Homeland and Mad Men—kicked the James B. Moran Center for Youth Advocacy’s annual benefit into gear, sharing stories and words of wisdom with more than 250 attendees. The event brought together supporters of Evanston’s leading youth and young-adult service centers. Guests enjoyed live jazz by The Sam Hudgens Trio while sipping cocktails and craft beer. An original production by Lawrence Grimm, In Their Own Words, wowed the audience with its raw reflection of the experiences of incarcerated youth. –Photos by Robert Shiverts
