THE PARTY The Ravinia Women’s Board celebrated its 50th anniversary as the largest contributor to the renowned outdoor music festival.THE PLAYERS Guests included Rob Krebs, chairman of the Ravinia Festival Board of Trustees, and his wife Anne; Jeanne Denison, Women’s Board chairman, and her husband Tom; and gala co-chairs Elizabeth Bergmann and Judy Castellini. Featured star soloists Patti LuPone and Patricia Racette surprised guests with a performance in the Gala Marquee with Ravinia President and CEO Welz Kauffman at the piano.THE HIGHLIGHTS Approximately 800 guests strolled into the Gala Marquee tent on the Ravinia grounds as a dramatic tree silhouette and golden lighting evoked vibrant sunsets. They enjoyed an elegant dinner followed by a concert by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra led by Ravinia Festival Music Director James Conlon and guest conductor Rob Fisher.
