Fashion Past

| November 3, 2014 | Parties National

The Party
Neiman Marcus paid homage to innovative fashion designers, and to the photographers who’ve captured their essence, at their 20th annual Art of Fashion runway show. More than 250 fashionistas surrounded the stage at the Neiman Marcus in Northbrook Court to get a look at the stunning fall fashions.

The People
Guests mingled and sampled the signature honeydew mocktails, along with hors d’oeuvres like mini lobster rolls and chilled goat cheese mousse with grilled pear. Kirstie Lytwynec, vice president and general manager of Neiman Marcus Northbrook, welcomed the crowd and highlighted the history of the Art of Fashion campaign. This was followed by a march of fall fashion. Some styles on the runway included a brunswick-green sequined maxi dress, and a black blazer that was finished with a flare and cinched under the bust by a thick metal belt in a dazzling gold.

Best in Show
Featured apparel on the runway included designs by Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney and Balenciaga, just to name a few. Here’s to 20 more years of fashion and fun! -Photos by Robin Subar
