THE PARTY More than 400 guests came together for the Second Annual Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) Luncheon.THE SCENE At the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago, guests listened to speakers Ted Allen, host of the Food Network’s Chopped, Dr. Kari Nadeau, director of the Stanford Alliance for Food Allergy Research and chef Paul Kahan, recipient of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award. THE HIGHLIGHTS The afternoon raised more than $420,000 that will go toward a hopeful cure to this potentially fatal disease, as well as safety for the more than 15 million Americans affected by it.
