Chalk it Up

| January 2, 2014 | Parties National

Style-savvy editors and Chicago-area fashion bloggers gathered at Evanston’s Found Kitchen and Social House to welcome jewelry designer Paula Mendoza and Hunting Season’s Danielle Corona to Chalk Boutique. Chalk owners Sharon Watrous and Carrie Kane hosted the event the night prior to the newcomers’ trunk show at Chalk.
Guests got a sneak peek of the collections–Mendoza’s innovative gold jewelry with beautiful raw gems and Corona’s luxury handbags and new home accessories collection, created with exotic skins and Italian hardware accents. Seasonal dishes—including a kale and Swiss chard salad; roasted Brussels sprouts and squash; roasted cauliflower and tomatoes Proven├žal; and fried polenta cake with goat cheese, plum and arugula—were on the menu for the night.
