Classic steak and potatoes meet Chinese and Thai cuisine—an unlikely fusion that has wowed attendees of Taste of Lettuce Lincolnshire for seven years. Two Lettuce Entertain You restaurants, Wildfire and Big Bowl, are coming together Sept. 20 at Wildfire Lincolnshire for the restaurants’ annual one-night-only four-course menu that showcases the best of both restaurants. With the purchase of a $75 ticket, guests have access to seasonal dishes created by executive chef Raul Gutierrez of Big Bowl, divisional executive chef Moreno Espinoza and executive chef Humberto Morales of Wildfire. The exclusive menu features cocktail and wine pairings with each course. This event serves as a creative outlet for the chefs and produces dishes such as the spit-roasted dry-aged New York roast and a twist on the iconic Door County cherry pie, served instead as an upside-down cherry cake topped with Homer’s vanilla bean ice cream. Have questions about the dishes? Ask the chefs; they’ll be welcoming conversation and questions throughout the evening. Wildfire, 235 Parkway Drive, Lincolnshire, 847.279.7900, wildfirerestaurant.com
